On May 31, 2021, the People's Committee of Ha Tien City approved the detailed planning of 1/500 scale for residential, eco-tourism and resort areas at Hon Doc (the largest island in the Hai Tac archipelago) of more than 10 hectares in Tien Hai commune, Ha Tien city. The investor is Tu Trieu Phu Co., Ltd., headquartered in Kien Hai, Kien Giang.
The residential, eco-tourism and resort areas in Hon Doc are bordered to the North by military land and the sea; The West borders the sea and Thai Minh Luan tourist area; The South borders residential and military land and the East borders the sea.
According to the detailed planning, the residential area, eco-tourism and resort in Hon Doc has a total area of 105,458.15m2 (10.5ha), of which phase 1 is 7.79ha; Phase 2 is 2.75ha. The population size of the whole area is about 1,626 people, of which 626 are residents, the rest are tourists and service staff.
Hai Tac archipelago a chain of ecological islands and unspoiled beaches will be the main key of Ha Tien to attract a large number of tourists, thereby developing and enhancing the tourism industry.
The specific structure of the project includes: Residential land with an area of 39,268.5m2. In which, adjacent residential land 11,671 m2 and villa land 27,597.5m2. The total number of residential land plots is 220.
The land for tourism or resort area has an area of 28,413.8, including: Restaurant, entertainment and other services with an area of 8,877.3m2, Resort and multi-purpose services are 11,377.2m2, 3-star hotel and food-drink services are 8,159.3m2.
It can be said that the approval of the 1/500 projects for Hon Doc residential, eco-tourism and resort is the first step to identify the goal of awakening and strongly exploiting the potential of real estate and island tourism development, with Hai Tac archipelago. This is not only a good sign for Ha Tien's tourism, but also signals the arrival of big players in the resort real estate with projects that will completely change the face of Ha Tien and Kien Giang.
